Power to the Campus went out at approximately 5.15am this morning and was restored at 7.45 am. The power failure was caused by a cable failure in Edison's 12KV line on University Parkway between College Avenue and Kendall Drive. The failure blew out a large concrete manhole cover on the below ground vault. See attached photographs. The last picture shows the cable failure where the 12KV lines were spliced together.
