CSUSB Waste Management provides courtesy collections for the following campus-generated items up to 50lbs:

  • Batteries

  • Beverage containers (aluminum-plastic-glass)

  • Electronic waste (computers and electronic accessories, laptops, printers, desktop & wall phones, cell phones, PDAs, electronic scales, etc)

  • Metal scrap

  • Pallets

  • Print cartridges (inkjet and toner cartridges)

Send pick-up requests to recycle@csusb.edu.

In compliance with California Assembly Bill 75 (1999), all large State facilities are mandated to divert at least 50 percent of their solid waste from landfills or transformation facilities by January 1, 2004, and to submit a State Agency Waste Management Report annually to the California

Integrated Waste Management Board.
